Chris Ayres Elected as “Top 40 under 40″ Texas lawyer by The National Trial Lawyers Association
In January, Chris was recognized and elected by the National Trial Lawyers Association as one of the top 40 civil plaintiff’s lawyers in the State of Texas, under the age of 40.
The National Trial Lawyers Association: Top 40 under 40 is a professional organization comprised of America’s top young trial attorneys. Membership is by invitation only and is extended exclusively to those individuals who exemplify superior qualifications, trial results, and leadership as a young lawyer under the age of 40. Selection is based on a thorough multi-phase process which includes peer nominations combined with third-party research. The result is a credible, comprehensive and impressive list of young attorneys chosen to represent their state. The Top 40 under 40 is restricted to only 40 attorneys per state per year and each attorney must be under the age of 40 as of January 1, 2012.

Federal Judge Denies NFL’ s Attempt to Dismiss Super Bowl Class Action
On November 20, 2011, Federal District Judge Barbara Lynn issued a ten-page memorandum opinion and order rejecting the NFL’s request to dismiss the class action filed by ticket holders from Super Bowl XLV. In addition, the Court noted that the ticket holders may seek to recover all damages permitted under the law, as opposed to the limitations suggested by the NFL.
